Our E-mail Policy

Your e-mail account(s) should always be ready for you whenever you want them. E-mail should be a pleasure, not a chore, and we try to keep it that way!

Is It Completely Private?
It depends! No one here is ever going to look in your mail box unless you request it. But, if you allow anyone else to get access to your login name and password they will easily gather all of the mail in your box.

If you ever experience trouble getting mail because of overly large messages or other problems and ask that we delete a certain message from your mailbox, please be aware that some of the information in your mailbox will become visible to us. Header and subject information will be seen by the system administrator handling your request. This is necessary in order to determine the correct message(s) to remove. If we are removing ALL of the messages currently in your mailbox, then none of the header or subject information will be seen.

Spam!
We can live with the kind that comes in a can, but not the type we find in our e-mail! Unsolicited e-mail is Spam, no matter who sends it!

If you are one of our users and use our resources to send Spam into the online world, then you will be billed for the use of those resources and your account will be removed from the system.

If you connect from another location and somehow manage to use our resources to send out Spam, you will be billed for those resources and your ISP will be notified. Washington State law made the sending of certain types of e-mail (Spam) illegal on June 1, 1998. The law allows for penalties for each violation, and we will use that law against you!

Our Listservs
The listservs that are maintained by us are not here for Spammers to use! In other words, please play nice!
